Brexitometer and Street Stall
28 September 2018
Campaigners will be taking to the streets of Shrewsbury
Joining the National Day of Action on Saturday 29 September
Supporters from the Shrewsbury People’s Vote campaign will be staging a street stall accompanied by the Brexitometer in Mardol Head, Shrewsbury tomorrow, 29 September, whilst 1,000s of other supporters will also be out and about across the rest of the UK joining a national day of action to demand their right to a People’s Vote on the final Brexit deal.
Their presence will follow on from the hugely successful meeting with former cabinet minister and peer, Lord Adonis in Shrewsbury earlier this week which attracted over 300 supporters.
Shrewsbury People’s Vote supporters are also staging a series of high profile meetings in the coming weeks to discuss why it’s vital to support the People's Vote campaign to ensure that the government's Brexit proposals are put before the country, so that we, the people decide what future relationship we should have with the EU once it is clear what the options are.
They will also be joining the People’s Vote March for the Future in London on Saturday 20 October, an event expected to be the biggest Brexit-related march so far, larger than the previous People’s Vote march which was attended by over 100,000 people.
